For 4 years, I have been working as a Social Media Manager for agencies based in both local and overseas. I specialize in overseeing the social media accounts of my clients. Advertising, campaigning and creative branding are also some of my key functions. I make work through different social media platforms. The building blocks of my role are, but not limited to, handling social media account updates, email and online communication supervision, and content creation.
Starting my professional career as a virtual assistant, I was introduced to a client who started my interest with Digital Marketing. This paved the way for my career development through a series of trainings, helping me understand my new-found career better.
Creativity was a talent that has been unknown to me, until I have decided to dip my foot in this world of marketing. I took on the courage of signing up for jobs related to my new role, with my little knowledge on hand. This helped me push to become more familiarized with the other areas related to this turf. Through hard work, I was hired as a Web Designer eager to become experienced with the job. As a Web Designer, it was expected that I am skilled with generating graphics and building content. Because of this, I practiced my Photoshop skills and even read free online materials to help me improve on my writing. With all these efforts, I realized that I am indeed innovative.
As I moved on with this new path, I looked for other jobs to different industries, and I got hired as a Social Media Manager. With this role, I learned more on the ins and outs of Digital Marketing. My clients were generous enough to buy different training materials to help me with my pursuit. As I course through the different trainings, I was able to expand my understanding of this new world and break through the limits and boundaries of my unawareness. And after all these efforts that I’ve put it, I began to stand out above the rest.
